• With excellent knowledge of SQL and the Windows Environment
• Experience with Microsoft BI Platforms and Integration Services or knowledge of other ETL Tools
• Knowledge in data warehousing, Multidimensional modeling, architecture of information systems and business intelligence concepts
• Experience in database performance tuning
• Leadership and mentoring abilities to less experienced colleagues
• Ability to organize and plan work independently
• Availability to travel within Canada and the USA for a few days at a time
• Possesses leadership and mentoring abilities to less experienced colleagues
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014 database administration
• Knowledge of T-SQL
• Knowledge of replication, clusters, maintenance plans, and security
• Ability to multi-tasks between different activities
• Able to participate in the development of existing databases and technical design of new features
